# Define your Deal’s Ad Formats and Device Types

### Deal's Ad Formats and Device Types Workflow

This section guides you through the workflow for setting the **Ad Format**, **Device Type**, and **Ad Size** parameters in the Deal Portal. Follow these steps for **Define your Deal’s Ad Formats and Device Type** parameters:

#### 1. Define your Deal’s Ad Formats and Device Types

* Click to expand the **Define your Deal’s Ad Formats and Device Types** section. This section allows you to target your ads campaign based on ad formats, device type, and ad size.

#### 2. Ad Formats

<ul><li>From the <b>Ad Formats</b> dropdown menu, select the <b>Allow</b> option.
The default option is set to <b>Allow</b> and is the only option available in the dropdown menu.

<ul><li><b>Allow</b>: When you select the <b>Allow</b> option, you permit your selected ad format option to display your ads.</li></ul>

<ul><li>From the dropdown list, click to select one or more <b>Ad Formats</b> options you want to allow for your ads. You can select from the following options:</li></ul>

<ul><li>After you select the <b>Ad Formats</b> option, your selected <b>Ad Format</b> option will be automatically added and saved to your deal. As a result your deal will be passed downstream to DSPs only for requests that are supporting ad formats you want to target.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Remove selected <b>Ad Formats</b> option from selection:

<ul><li>To remove your selected <b>Ad Formats</b> option, click the <b>x</b> next to it. The option will be removed from your deal.</li></ul>

<ul><li>To remove all selected <b>Ad Formats</b> options, click the <b>Remove All x</b> button located at the bottom of the selection box. The selected <b>Ad Format</b> options will be cleared, leaving the selection box empty.</li></ul></li></ul>

#### 3. Device Type

<ul><li>From the <b>Device Type</b> dropdown menu, select either the <b>Allow</b> or <b>Block</b> option. The default option is set to <b>Allow</b>:

<ul><li><b>Allow</b>: When you select the <b>Allow</b> option, you permit your selected device type to display your ads.</li></ul>

<ul><li><b>Block</b>: When you select the <b>Block</b> option, you restrict your selected device type from displaying your ads.</li></ul></li></ul>

<ul><li>From the <b>Ad Size</b> dropdown menu, select either the <b>Allow</b> or <b>Block</b> option.

<ul><li><b>Allow</b>: When you select <b>Allow</b>, you permit your selected ad size to display your ads campaign.</li></ul>

<ul><li><b>Block</b>: When you select <b>Block</b>, you restrict your selected ad size from displaying your ads campaign.</li></ul>

* After you select the **Ad Size** option, your selected **Ad Size** option will be automatically added and saved to your deal.
